A DIFFERENT LOOK AT CINEMA

Przeźrocze in Polish refers to an old, retro 35mm analogue slide. The Przeźrocza Film Festival has been held annually since 2015.

This year, for the 12th edition, the festival continues to actively seek out new trends in cinema while remaining deeply rooted in cinematic tradition.

As every year, we present the work of established masters while creating space for the explorations and experiments of young filmmakers. We position ourselves between the analogue and the contemporary — between what is forgotten, patiently retrieved from the hidden corners of cinema, and what is new and exploratory.

We aim to see cinema differently: to combine various fields of art, to draw audiences into the festival’s interdisciplinary world, and to continually discover film revolutionaries.
